ABSTRACT.
In order to realize rural revitalization, it is the key to protect rural ecological environment and construct pleasant ecological living environment. Elevation of rural ecological environment is inseparable from financial support, so, to master the functions of rural finance in rural ecological environment is of far-reaching influences on the construction of rural ecological environment and the optimization of rural financial resource allocation. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2009 to 2018, this essay studies the spatial spillover effect of rural finance on rural ecological environment with SDM model from the perspective of spatial spillover effect on the basis of using genetic algorithm-projection pursuit model to measure the level of rural ecological environment. The research findings are as follows: the construction of rural ecological environment varies greatly in different provinces and cities, with that of Sichuan, Zhejiang and Jiangsu better but that of Xinjiang, Tibet and An’hui poorer; positive influences of rural finance on rural ecological environment has direct effect and spatial spillover effect and the contribution to the ecological environment in peripheral areas is higher than to the local place; the influences of other control variables on rural ecological environment vary greatly. Based on these findings, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward with the aim to provide decision support for the reform of rural finance as well as the construction of rural ecological environment.
Key words: rural ecological environment; rural finance; genetic algorithm-projection pursuit; spatial Durbin model.
