CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SPECIAL ISSUE ON

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS AND APPLICATIONS FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS

Because of its ability to interact with the environment in a self-organizing and adaptive manner, the intelligent system has never lacked people’s attention since its emergence. With the long-term exploration of experts and scholars in multi-disciplinary fields such as industry, agriculture, economy, society, ecology, etc., the dynamics research of intelligent systems has gradually matured. At present, it has developed into a comprehensive interdisciplinary based on cybernetics, information theory, decision theory and other related theories. And it can use computer simulation technology to quantitatively study nonlinear, high-order, multiple feedback complex systems.

Intelligent system is the abstraction and induction of actual system by researchers according to actual needs. Establishing a suitable dynamic model is an important part of simulating the real system structure. However, due to the limitations of calculation methods and technical theories, for the same practical system, researchers often tend to establish different model structures based on different problem requirements. With the increasing complexity, dynamics, and variability of modern society, the gap between the nonlinear time-varying problem generated by modern society and the existing intelligent system knowledge system has widened. Therefore, exploring the intelligent system that can comprehensively and realistically reflect the actual system and studying its dynamic behavior still require continuous efforts in the later stage.

The Guest Editors of this special issue in the Dynamic Systems and Applications (DSA) invite experts in mathematics, engineering, sociology, economics, and other fields to prepare theoretical and technical papers discussing dynamic behavior of intelligent systems. This special issue is intended to provide a platform for integrating the essence of various system disciplines and other sciences and to promote further collaborations between modelers, decision makers and experts from multiple subject areas. Successful submissions will benefit from international visibility through publication as examples of thought leadership.

Scientists and professionals are invited to submit papers describing the current capabilities of intelligent systems in predicting state changes, controlling and optimizing resource utilization, studying strategic applications and so on. Authors are strongly encouraged to combine work with the actual needs of contemporary society, and discuss how to promote the integration of system discipline knowledge systems to develop the application of intelligent systems in a wider range of fields. Papers are invited to present new theoretical analysis, and encouraged to describe case studies, control strategies and policy assessments. Papers may focus on different aspects of this study field at the global, regional and national levels.
