ABSTRACT.
The objective of this thesis is to develop student satisfaction assessment tools for private colleges and universities, and to explore the satisfaction of students’ teaching management in private colleges. Methods were an anonymous questionnaire survey which was conducted on 6,000 students from different private schools in Kunming City, Yunnan Province. Results I was through exploratory factor analysis, three dimensions were finally decided: teaching management, logistics service, hardware facilities, and formed a final questionnaire of 30 items. The cumulative interpretation rate was 69.865%. Result II: the internal consistency of each factor was between 0.905 ~ 0.973, the internal consistency reliability of the whole questionnaire was 0.970, and the correlation coefficient between the satisfaction factors and the total score was 0.822 ~ 0.935. The correlation coefficient between the factors was between 0.611 and 0.744, showing the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and the data and model fitting effect is better, which shows that the structural equation model established in this study has significant practical analysis meaning. Result III: the difference in the total score of satisfaction is significant (p<0.05). which reflects in teaching management, logistics service, and total satisfaction scores among different grades (p<0.01); the differences in teaching management, logistics services, hardware facilities, and satisfaction scores were significantly different among students with different academic qualifications (p<0.001). The conclusion is that the structural equation model which established in this study has significant practical analytical meaning and can be used for reference and application by similar institutions. Undergraduates’ needs in teaching management, logistics services, hardware facilities, etc. are not met. Therefore, all departments of the school should pay attention to strengthening the undergraduate course, health education teaching management.
