ABSTRACT.
An interesting physical system called double pendulum is studied in this work. Firstly, the classical Lagrangian is derived and, as a result, CELEs are obtained. Secondly, the fractional Lagranian was developed and consequently the FELEs were obtained. Thirdly, the fractional Hamiltonian equation was derived, and, as a result, the FHEs has been reported. Furthermore, we solved the obtained fractional derivative equations numerically and the simulation results have been reported for some initial conditions.
