ABSTRACT.
As pure electric vehicles add the braking energy recovery function, the coordinated control between the chassis brake subsystem and the suspension subsystem faces new challenges. In this paper, the fuzzy coordinated control strategy between composite braking and active suspension is used to improve the braking energy recovery performance and braking safety. Based on the tire longitudinal mechanics test, a tire longitudinal mechanics model was established. Meanwhile, designed a fuzzy coordinated control strategy combined with a compound braking model and active suspension integrated dynamics model. Carsim and Simulink joint simulation was used to verify the coordinated control performance. The research results show that the coordinated control strategy designed in this paper has greatly improved the composite braking performance and improved the overall performance of the vehicle chassis while sacrificing the performance of a small part of the suspension.
