ABSTRACT.
Pipe conveying fluid as an important part of the engineering structure. The critical fluid velocity and buckling configurations of pipe conveying fluid on a two-parameter elastic foundation are studied with various parameters. The analytical solution of the nonlinear buckling problem is obtained by mathematical derivations. The process of the mathematical derivations is shown in different boundary conditions. Based on the analytical solution, the critical flow velocity and buckling configurations of pipe conveying fluid on the elastic foundation is obtained. By comparison with the data available in the literature, results had better accuracy under the present method.
