ABSTRACT.
In this paper, we propose a new contraction, namely, E-contraction dominated by γ in the context of b-metric  spaces. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for such operators in the setting of complete b-metric  spaces. Our results generalize and improve some existing results on the topic in the literature. We also have some examples to illustrate the validity of the observed results.
