ABSTRACT.
In this paper, we derive and prove some common fixed point theorems using the notion of ꞷt-distance that was introduced by Hussain et al. [N. Hussain, R. Saadati, R.P. Agrawal, On the topology and ꞷt–distance on metric type spaces, Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2014(1): 1-14, 2014] in the setting of b-metric spaces for mappings of cyclic form under linear contractive conditions. Our result extend and generalize many existing results in the literature.
