ABSTRACT.
In the construction of industrial economic belt, industrial upgrading and industrial transfer play an important role. As the main battlefield of China’s economic development, it is an important issue to study the industry transfer from west to East. In this paper, the dynamic and static clustering index calculation and industry gradient algorithm are used to calculate 8 industries in Chongqing. The industrial layout of five important cities in the eastern region is obtained. It can be seen that Shanghai and Beijing are two of the five cities in the eastern region, with the most industrial transfer. Chongqing’s mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturing industry has obvious absolute advantages, which shows that Chongqing has the conditions to undertake the industrial transfer in the eastern region, the communication equipment also has the conditions, and the computer electronic equipment manufacturing industry has the conditions to undertake the industry first. The research of this paper has important theoretical and practical value for promoting the study of industrial transfer in the west of the Yangtze River economic belt to undertake the eastern region.
