ABSTRACT.
In recent years, the number and scale of enrollment in Chinese universities have expanded rapidly, bringing new challenges to the educational administration of many universities. With the continuous development of management information system, as an important part of teacher management information system, teacher workload management platform is the core and foundation of the whole teaching information management. At present, there are some deficiencies in the methods for calculating the teaching workload of college teachers in our country. Taking teachers’ necessary working time as a measure of teachers’ workload can better clarify the complicated problems encountered in the calculation of teachers’ workload in colleges and universities. The development of teachers’ workload management platform can accurately and quickly complete the statistical work related to teachers’ workload. This paper studies the problems existing in the calculation of teachers’ teaching workload in Colleges and universities, uses the improved genetic algorithm to construct the evaluation system of teachers’ teaching workload, so as to implement the standardized quantification of teachers’ teaching workload, and achieve the purpose of improving the school incentive mechanism and improving the level of teaching management.
