ABSTRACT.
As a compulsory course for English majors, English and American literature is limited by the hours of teaching, so teachers can only choose the essence of writers and works, but can’t see the whole picture. Classroom teaching in colleges and universities is not only an important form of talent training in colleges and universities, but also the basis of other teaching links. How to open the narrow information input channel and restore the aesthetic context three-dimensionally to stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm has become the key to teaching. Based on the characteristics of English and American Literature Classroom teaching quality, it is impossible for us to evaluate the classroom teaching quality completely objectively or subjectively. Based on the current situation of teaching quality of British and American literature course for English majors, this paper establishes the evaluation index system of English and American Literature Classroom Teaching Quality Based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, obtains the main factors affecting the quality of classroom teaching and the weight of all kinds of evaluators, improves and optimizes the calculation method of students’ evaluation data.
